Built by Reuben Rogers around 1809-1810, Rogers House is a local example of Piedmont Plain architecture. Its simple plan helps visitors understand early domestic life in Morgan County.
The house predates the Morgan County Courthouse by nearly a century and changed hands many times. Its furnishings and interpretation connect the building to household and community life in the nineteenth century.
